Alibaba Launches Quick AI Glasses
Alibaba today (Nov 27) launched its latest AI-powered smart eyewear called Quick AI Glasses in China. With competitors like Meta, Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi already offering similar products in the market, the arrival of Quick AI Glasses is a notable development. The price is around LKR 80,000–82,000 when converted to Sri Lankan currency. The device comes with a black plastic frame and is extremely lightweight. The core intelligence behind the glasses is Alibaba’s Qwen AI model, which is integrated across both the glasses and the companion mobile app. Although it looks like a regular pair of glasses, it includes an AI chipset and a mini display system.

When using these glasses, if you look at something like a signboard or a menu, it can provide real-time translation. For example, a Chinese signboard can be instantly translated into English or other languages. The AI glasses also support map navigation. In addition, users can capture photos and video recordings, get quick AI-powered answers to questions, recognize product prices, and quickly check prices while shopping. Beyond these features, the glasses are designed to assist with many other everyday tasks.
